So I’ve been wanting a little camel in my life…as in, I needed to trade in the darker colors for a lighter options. You feel me? 🙂
Black is my go-to color (just ask my sister, I ALWAYS lean towards the darker colors…). I think it’s a European thing? Let’s go with that.
I found this camel coat at a local store in Shanghai. That may sound kind of cool but trust me when I tell you there was absolutely http://painconsult.com/cinfo.php nothing fancy about the store (picture this: a ton of Chinese people yelling across the room whilst you’re literally in the middle of it all getting fitted for your proper size). It’s all about the shopping experience in Asia. 😉
The color camel can scare off a lot of people because they feel it may be too close to the color of their skin – but that’s what I love about it so much. It’s close enough to the color of your skin that it’s such a neutral piece that really goes with go to site everything.
Plus, you can wear this color in the spring and not feel like you’re still bundled up in winter layers.
It has been ‘sweater weather’ here in the Netherlands for some time now, but as of the last few weeks it has quickly developed into ‘coat weather’. 🙂
Since moving abroad I’ve had to step up my coat game. In Texas you can get by with just a leather jacket and a North Face jacket for the occasional sleet storm. Not here friends, not here. Coats are a must and scarves are very much welcomed. Speaking of, time to find an animal printed scarf to match this coat…
